How to save your game in Spider-Man 2

To manually save your game in Spider-Man 2, all you need to do is go into the menu and find the save option. This will let you create a fresh manual save at whatever point you are in the game.

If you don’t care to manually save the game, fret not. Spider-Man 2’s autosave system does so after each major cutscene and mission checkpoint. Due to this, you won’t need to worry about losing game progress in Spider-Man 2 thanks to its autosave, which means if you die or power off your PS5 you’ll only lose mere minutes of progress.

Save often

If you’ve ever played a JRPG from the 90s or early 2000s, you know that sometimes you can’t rely on autosave and everything must be done manually. Even with an autosave system, it’s important to have manual backups in case anything goes wrong. Not that we expect something to go wrong, but if you want that extra peace of mind, then manually saving should be your first port of call.
