How to greet citizens in Spider-Man 2
In order to greet and interact with a citizen in Spider-Man 2, you first need to find a citizen and interact with them by pressing the Triangle button. With this, Spider-Man will emote with the citizens you approach, take a selfie, or high-five them. You can do this as either Miles or Peter and the result will be mostly the same.
If the masses of NYC aren’t clamouring for your attention for some reason, you can also get their attention by pressing Square in front of a citizen. Doing so will prompt Spidey to point at the person and interact with them this way.
What’s the point?
There’s no real point to interacting with any and all citizens you come across, but it offers a nice little side thing to do if you’re every bored or wanting to fully RP in Spider-Man 2. It lets you feel more immersed and adds a nice layer of fun to the whole game, so why not do it when you can? There’s no downside to it.
There’s nothing to be lost from doing this as Miles or Peter, and the only thing you gain is the enduring, everlasting love and support from the random citizens of New York who love everything good old Spidey does. Don’t let the fame get to your head – isn’t that worth it enough to greet people?
