Space Marine 2 Campaign and Operations mission list

The universe is a dangerous place, and Lieutenant Titus and his Battle-Brothers have their work cut out as they take on the Tyranid threat and serve the Imperium in a meaty 12 hour campaign. Once that’s wrapped up, players can dive into a second batch of missions under Operations, a replayable co-op PvE mode with upgradable classes and weapons. Warhammer 40K Space Marine 2 features 7 main story Campaign missions and 6 Operations missions to play through. Below, you’ll find a full missions list for both modes.

Campaign story missions

There are technically 7 Campaign missions to play through if you include the Rain of Terror tutorial prologue that you play through when starting a new save. Every mission takes between 45 and 90 minutes to complete as Titus and the squad tick off set objectives and meet a rich cast of characters. The last mission, Dawn’s Descent, is significantly longer, running up to 2 hours long with several sub-chapters. Campaign missions are replayable via the Battle Map onboard the Battle Barge and feature four different difficulty settings to choose from.

We recommend avoiding the Operations mode until you finish the story. The missions contain minor spoilers linked to the story plot that are best experienced in the Campaign first.

Operations missions

Space Marine 2’s Operations mode consists of 6 distinct missions. These are unlocked as you complete the missions in the Campaign mode and offer players repeatable co-op PvE missions separate from Titus’ adventure though the stakes are often just as high. Alongside, the mode features six playable classes and a host of weapons that be leveled up and upgraded to encourage players to repeat these missions.

Per the Space Marine 2 roadmap, new Operations missions and maps are on the way, starting with Season 2, which runs from October 2025 through until the end of the year. Beyond that, Season 3 is expected to include another PvE mission. Expect this one in the opening months of 2025. There’s also mention of a new PvP game mode, which could potentially include fresh missions, though this is purely speculative.
