Space Marine 2 is launching with an array of game modes for both PvE and PvP players. There is going to be a fair amount of replayability. Those looking for a classical console-style action shooter can also look forward to the progression and game modes in multiplayer. There are certainly a lot of game modes in Space Marine 2.

List of game modes for Space Marine 2

In total, there are several different game modes and game types. Your main ones are as follows:

• Campaign
• Operations
• Eternal War

The campaign is your standard three-player coop experience. You’ll work through a list of levels, each with its own objectives, map designs, environment objectives and challenges to face.

Meanwhile, Operations are another three-player game mode. These Operations are inspired by the campaign levels that you unlock as you play through the game. You’ll gradually unlock more levels as you play the game. There’s a total of eight Operations available at launch. More operations are coming post-launch with every new season in the roadmap giving players some new content to do every few months.

It is also important to mention that Operations comes with six classes. The classes also have level to them, peaking around level 15 based on difficulty settings. So, there’s a lot of replayability and levelling up for the Operations mode for you and your crew. These tend to award armoury unlocks, which are customization options. These can also be used in Eternal War mode.

Meanwhile, the Eternal War is the PvP mode, pitting the Imperium and Chaos Astartes against each other. The Eternal War has three classical game modes, featuring:

Capture and Control	A King of the Hill-type mode
Annihilation	Standard team deathmatch-type rules.

There’s also a quick match for both Operations and Eternal War. So, if you want to get into any mode or map as fast as possible, you can use those queues to do so.
