You’ll find a large set of double doors that lead into the BG3 Dank Crypt. You’ll need to lockpick them to open the way. Alternatively you can take the secondary entrance at the top of the cliffs, though you’ll need to be wary of the bandits up there.

Make your way through the dungeon, being wary of the various traps and enemies within. When you come to the room with two sets of massive oak double doors, pick the one on the right. Fight off the enemies inside when you attempt to open the secret door at the back of the room. Then just interact with the Ornate Sarcophagus, inside that secret chamber. Doing this will make Withers appear. After a brief dialogue exchange, he’ll head to your camp, where you can then find him permanently.

Tips for respeccing in Baldur’s Gate 3

As we mentioned before, you’re not limited to just your main BG3 character for respecs. You can also respec any of your companions. This means that if you want to make Gale a Fighter instead of a Wizard, or turn Karlach into a Sorcerer rather than a Barbarian, you can do so. This lets you tinker with ability scores for a new playstyle too. Respeccing drops your character back to level 1, letting you pick your desired spells and skills once more. This way, you don’t have to stick with the same skillset for the whole game. Withers also lets you recruit Baldur’s Gate 3 Hirelings to customize.
