There aren’t as many easter eggs as there were in the base game but there are some great ones to check out if you are exploring the DLC. Here is a list of our favorites.

  2. Shiny Ditto Blocks

Pecharunt is ready for the epilogue

Pecharunt is a legendary Pokemon that many were thinking would be in the Indigo Disk DLC. Unfortunately, Nintendo has been saving this Pokemon for something else – The Epilogue. The Epilogue was announced in December 2023 but was hinted at before the announcement. If you go to Kitakami, you can find the Pecharunt doll. It also hints at the Pokemon by stating that the doll smells sweet.

Shiny Ditto Blocks

Ditto Blocks are one of the many BBQs or Blueberry Quests that you can get while exploring the Terarium. Well, did you know that these blocks can be shiny? The chance of this is pretty slim but you can indeed find a shiny Ditto Block on your search through the Terarium.

The Nature Preserve Returns

One section of the Canyon Biome in the Terarium is almost a one-to-one recreation of the Nature Preserve from Pokemon Black 2 and White 2. Many fans have pointed this out and have also stated that Nintendo dropped the ball. This is because, in the Nature Preserve, you can find a Shiny Haxorus. Instead, you can find a Tera Stellar-type Haxorus in the same location the shiny would have been. Still a nice easter egg but it would be nice to get a shiny.

Secret Ending

Those who want a little more of the DLC can head back to Kitakami. Once there, head to the Crystal Pool that you visited multiple times during the Teal Mask DLC. Here, you will run into the professor. Whether this is Professor Turo or Professor Sada depends on what game you are playing but here you will get a secret second ending.

Lacey is Clay’s Daughter

We already knew from the DLC that Blueberry Academy has ties to the Unova Region. One of the biggest connections is that Lacey is the daughter of one of the gym leaders. Well, fans may have figured out which one is her parent and it is Clay – the ground-type gym leader. There are a few reasons for this assumption:

  • The thick eyebrows
  • They both use Excadrill as their ace Pokemon
  • The green gems they wear are the same

As you can see, there are multiple reasons for the speculation on this but there has been no official statement about it.

Honorable Mention – Meloetta

Meloetta was introduced in Gen V and appears once more in the Terarium of Blueberry Academy. This is a great homage to the original story. If you go to the Coastal Biome, spin in a field where you hear music, and then use your camera on the Sepia Filter, you just might see this Pokemon. Another story for you to tell Arven and Penny back in Paldea.

Those are our favorite easter eggs from the Indigo Disk DLC. Be sure to also check out how to upgrade the lock on feature in Pokemon Indigo Disk. You might also want to know how to catch Raging Bolt in Pokemon Indigo Disk.
