One of the core elements of the Indigo Disk DLC is all the Blueberry Quests (BBQs) you need to complete to earn points. And to complete one of the quests, you’ll need to know how to sneak up on Pokemon. Luckily, this is very simple, and once you know how it’s done, you’ll be finishing up those BBQs in no time flat.
While you’re here, make sure to check out how to get BP points in Pokemon Indigo Disk, as well as learning how to change throwing style in Pokemon Indigo Disk too. With that, let’s take a look at how to sneak up on Pokemon in Pokemon Indigo Disk.
How to sneak up on Pokemon in the Indigo Disk DLC
To sneak up on a Pokemon, you first need to make sure that it’s facing away from you. If a Pokemon already sees you, then you won’t be able to sneak up on it. With the Pokemon facing away, press B to crouch down. Now, walk slowly up to the Pokemon, without getting too close as it might turn around and spot you.
Alex’s Advice
An even easier way to sneak up on Pokemon is to find one that’s asleep. This way, you don’t have to worry about them seeing you, and you can aim your throw much more easily.
Instead of walking directly in it to start a battle, press the ZR button to throw a Poke Ball at the Pokemon. If it’s in the middle of your screen, your Poke Ball will hit it in the back, beginning a battle. If done right, an exclamation mark will appear above the Pokemon’s head, and you’ll get a message saying that you caught it off guard, and will complete the relevant BBQ.
That’s all you need to know about how to sneak up on Pokemon in Pokemon Indigo Disk. For other DLC tips, check out the Pokemon Indigo Disk Pokedex including all the returning Pokemon Indigo Disk starters and Pokemon Indigo Disk Legendary Pokemon.
