As of right now, there is no way to split your item stacks directly in your inventory. What you can do is split items into stacks when you take them out of a storage chest or by placing them in structures when you use the material.
The best way to split your stacks and manage items in Nightingale is to make a chest of some kind. As with any survival game, chests around your base that hold your excess materials and resources are vital to running an efficient base.

To do this, open up the storage chest you have and select a resource that’s in there. Hold shift when you choose something and you can pick how many pieces of the item you want from the chest. This lets you manage your storage and inventory better.
Outside of this, you can split items to Extract as well, but this isn’t really the same as splitting things up in your inventory as you will lose the resource you extract.
