NBA 2K24 Season 2 release date

The NBA 2K24 Season 2 release date is Friday, October 20, 2023. This is readily available as soon as one loads into the game. It’s a big thing for 2K, and the developers want players to know about it. At the time of this writing, two days remain until Season 1 ends. That confirms that Season 2 will indeed arrive on Friday, October 20. Check out the official patch notes for the update that was released ahead of the new season! Plenty of changes were introduced to the game, so the new season should run smoothly when it does arrive.

On next-gen consoles, the City has even more confirmation and information. If you head out onto the beach front location of the city, you can then follow the center main road between The Theater and The REC Center. Next, cut straight through a small park that will take you to the Rivals Plaza Square. There, the large electronic tower you can see highlights not only the release dates for each new season, but also includes the duration for the active one on top. This is further confirmation and it’s a way for players to check in-game without having to look on the 2K Twitter page.

This is an easy way to check and see how long you have to continue grinding out the rewards for the current season. The time is running short for this season, so be sure to keep an eye on that if you’re aiming for the LeBron James card in Season 1, for example. These rewards expire and do not come back, so this is your final chance to earn them. Be sure to continue grinding until the dawn of Season 2 if you haven’t unlocked anything.

NBA 2K24 Season 2 expected start time

The expected start time for NBA 2K24 Season 2 is 8AM PST / 11AM EST / 4PM GMT. One of the most consistent aspects of NBA 2K24 is that of its launch times for its new content and seasons, which tend to always arrive at 11AM EST. In fact, NBA 2K24 MyTEAM on Twitter made their Season 1 announcement at 11:30AM EST on September 8, following its 2K Day Packs announcement at 11AM EST, and we expect that to be the same for Season 2. This is not confirmed yet, but it is a safe estimate. We will continue updating you with more information as it comes.

What to expect from NBA 2K24 Season 2

While the new season is a couple of days away still, more information is likely coming. NBA 2K24 and 2K Sports will likely release a thorough Courtside Report on the next season sometime soon. They do this to highlight what to expect in MyCAREER, MyTEAM, and The W Online. That also means that we currently don’t have any information on what to expect on that front. As of now, they’ve been relatively quiet regarding the new season.

The gameplay will not change, butmore things will be added to the game. The most likely additions include MyPLAYER cosmetics, new quests, new challenges, and a slightly updated overall experience. There will be a new Season Pass (and maybe a Hall of Fame pass), which will grant top MyTEAM rewards and signature players to add to your squads. It’s unlikely that any other multiplayer or single player modes, such as MyNBA, Mamba Moments, and others, are going to change at all. Naturally, the entire Season Pass will change, so the game will see all new rewards being given out.

Be sure to check out 2K’s social media for the livestream about the Season 2 content patch. Bug fixes are also likely to come. This update is planned for all editions and platforms, including Nintendo Switch, PC, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4. All consoles will enter the new season at the same time as well.

That’s all for the Season 2 release date, but be sure to check out what the best free throw is, the best takeovers, and the best jump shots!
