How to request a trade in NBA 2K24

MyCAREER has returned to the NBA 2K franchise for another year, but this year you will be able to choose which NBA franchise you wish to start your career with.

As always, there are a host of objectives for you to complete in the early stages of your career, and whilst you are in the early stages of your save, you will not be permitted to request a trade to another franchise.

After you have played two key games in your first season, you will be able to request a trade away from your current franchise. Here is how to do so:

• Open MyCAREER
• Head to the MyCAREER tab
• Select Career Tracker
• Scroll to Request Trade
• Choose the team that you wish to be trade to

There is no guarantee that you will be picked up by the franchise of your choosing, however, you will be able to see how interested each team is in you before you opt for a trade request.

Do be aware that you risk upsetting your current team if you are to request a trade, so ensure that you are careful with your choices.
