Here’s how to invite and play with friends in NBA 2K24:
- Open NBA 2K24 and load into the Main Menu.
- Press down on L1/LB and R1/RB at the same time.
- The Online Menu will pop up on the left side with four tabs.
- Scroll over to the ‘Friends’ tab.
- Search your friend’s gamer tag and invite.
If you’re friends are reaching out to you, their friend requests can found in the same Online Menu when pressing down on L1/LB and R1/RB at the same time, only this time you scroll over to the letter symbol and you will find the invitation there.

Should you be in MyCAREER, you can also locate random players that are near you when pulling up the Online Menu. So if you’re looking to reach out to members of the community just to play, you can do so there as well. Inviting friends in NBA 2K24 can be done at anytime and in any mode. So if you’re playing MyTEAM or The W, you will still be able to access the Online Menu to invite friends.
