Can you use killstreaks in MW3 Campaign?

Yes, you can use killstreaks in the MW3 campaign. The use of killstreaks in the game’s main story mode was revealed by Sledgehammer Games creative director David Swenson during the Gamescom Opening Night Live 2023 showcase. In it, Swenson noted that you’ll be able to use vehicles, tactical and lethal equipment, as well as killstreaks to accomplish objectives the way you want.

We’ve also confirmed the availability of Killstreaks in the game especially in Open Combat missions rather than the standard cinematic Campaign missions. And since Killstreaks were originally a multiplayer feature, many players are thrilled to use it in campaign missions as well.

Strive to get them

Killstreaks in MW3 add a dynamic layer to the overall gameplay, rewarding skilled and strategic players with powerful advantages. They also provide you with a sense of progression and excitement so you can strive for consecutive kills while shaping the battlefield dynamics through diverse rewards, from reconnaissance to devastating airstrikes.

What is the difference between Killstreaks and Scorestreaks?

In previous Call of Duty games, players could earn Killstreaks by accumulating kills without dying. Some games also featured Scorestreaks, which rewarded players for scoring points through objectives like capturing Hardpoints. Modern Warfare 3 allows players to choose between Killstreaks and Scorestreaks, catering to different playstyles. This is a welcome addition that has since been well-received by players.

That’s all you need to know for now on MW3 campaign killstreaks. If you want to learn more about the newest CoD entry, check out our guides on MW3 characters list, as well as the MW3 story so far for a quick refresher.
