There are 3 Monster Hunter Rise Amiibos released by Nintendo that can be scanned for rewards. These are the Palico Amiibo, the Palamute Amiibo, and the Magnamalo Amiibo.

Palico Amiibo 

This Amiibo figure unlocks special layered armor based on the Magnamalo monster in Monster Hunter Rise. This armor can be worn by your Palico companions, adding a unique look and potentially new abilities to your hunting party.

Palamute Amiibo

Similar to the Palico Amiibo, this figure also unlocks special layered armor based on the Magnamalo monster in Monster Hunter Rise. However, this armor is specifically designed for your Palamute companions, allowing them to join in on the hunt with their own unique looks and abilities.

Magnamalo Amiibo

This Amiibo figure unlocks the same special layered armor as the Palico and Palamute, but it is specifically designed for your hunter character. With this Amiibo, you can obtain armor inspired by the powerful Magnamalo monster, giving you a unique look and powerful new abilities to use in battle.

In-Game Lottery

The Market in Monster Hunter Rise offers players the opportunity to participate in the Amiibo lottery using Amiibo figures. Players can access the lottery up to 3 times per day using each Amiibo figure. Therefore, to increase your chances of winning, it is recommended to scan each of these daily.

Each Amiibo figure has its unique jackpot prize that can be won through the lottery. It is important to note that while useful, these items are not exclusive to the Amiibo lottery, so you shouldn’t purchase Amiibos just to participate.

Magnamalo Amiibo Lottery Rewards

How To Scan Amiibos In Monster Hunter Rise

Scanning Amiibos in the game is a piece of cake, just follow the steps below.

1. Go to speak with Kagero, the Merchant, the Wyverian residing in Kamura
2. Select the option “Read Amiibo”
3. Place your Amiibo on the Right Stick of your Right Joy-Con controller or the center of your Nintendo Switch Pro Controller
4. Wait for the scan to complete and claim your Unlocks or Lottery Rewards
