Although we’ve gotten a taste of zombies in the Call of Duty franchise from previous releases, Modern Warfare 3 is the first game in the Modern Warfare series to have a dedicated zombies mode that offers PvE experience in Urzikstan. However, zombies mode is more than just blasting through hordes of the undead.

So while regular weapons can get the job done and keep you alive long enough to call in an exfil chopper, wonder weapons are guaranteed to keep you alive if you play your cards right. Scorcher 

This is a powerful flamethrower that unleashes a continuous stream of fire. It can quickly clear out large groups of zombies and deal significant damage to stronger enemies. It has a high damage output, area-of-effect damage and is highly effective against large groups of zombies.

The only downside with the Scorcher is that it has limited ammunition and requires constant reloading if you want to survive. You can get this MW3 wonder weapon through Mystery Box, Reward Rifts, or by Schematic crafting. It’s worth noting that the Mystery Box costs around 950 Essence and will grant you a random weapon, so getting a wonder weapon is not guaranteed. 

V-R11

This futuristic ray gun can fire a beam of energy that turns zombies into humans or enemies into friendly zombies. The weapon provides you with a unique and strategic opportunity for crowd control as it’s great for both offensive and defensive strategies. 

Like the Scorcher wonder weapon, the V-R11 also has a limited ammo capacity and a longer reload time. Also, its ability to turn enemies into allies can be chaotic and unpredictable. To get the V-R11 in MW3, you’ll have to go through the Mystery Box, Reward Rifts, or crafting with specific items as well. 

Ray Gun

The Ray Gun is no stranger for many players as it is a classic Wonder Weapon in previous Call of Duty games with zombies mode. It can fire a powerful blast of energy that can instantly kill zombies of any threat level in MW3, making it a reliable and effective weapon in the game. 

You’ll enjoy using the Ray Gun due to its high damage output, instant kills and easy-to-use nature. However, its limited ammo capacity and single-target fire are not very effective against large groups of zombies. And as with the above MW3 wonder weapons, you can get the Ray Gun through Mystery Box, Reward Rifts or by crafting specific items. 

Wunderwaffe DG-2

This MW3 wonder weapon can fire powerful waves of energy that can kill zombies in an instant and leave a bombastic impact that can cause high damage to nearby enemies. Surprisingly, it also has a unique ability to slow down time, giving players a tactical advantage. 

The Wunderwaffe DG-2 has limited ammo capacity, a slow reload time and can be self-damaging if fired too close. It is obtainable through the Mystery Box, Reward Rifts, or by Schematic crafting. You can always get Schematics as a reward for completing contracts, especially in higher-level threat zones.
