- There are currently no built in cheats or console commands in Manor Lords, as the game is still in early access stage.
- However, there are third party options to tweak the games settings and resources.
While Manor Lords is a game that rewards patience and experimentation, it’s a slow-burner and a time sink even by city builder standards. Not everyone has 50 hours to sink into learning all the intricacies of medieval city building. Which leads to the question of whether there are Manor Lords cheats and console commands available for players to customise the experience.
We’ll walk you through everything there is to know about Manor Lords cheats and console commands. If the answer isn’t what you expected, our tips and tricks guide has some great advice to get you up and running quickly.
Does Manor Lords have cheats and console commands?
No, in its current Early Access build Manor Lords doesn’t have any native cheats or console commands. There’s currently no word on whether we should expect them to feature in the 1.0 release and developer Slavic Magic has remained dead silent on the matter so far. But with so many features still needing implementation and the fact Manor Lords is predominantly a solo effort, don’t hold your breath.
Now, while there’s no in-built cheat functionality, third-party options are already available for those interested in tweaking the game. Among the safest and most popular so far, we have WeMod trainer, which allows you to customise different settings and resources, including:
- Game speed
- Treasury
- Influence
- King’s Favour
- Development Points
- Approval
- Public Order
- Infinite Health for army units
- Infinite Stamina for army units
- Army Morale
- Army movement speed
- Kill enemy army units
- Construction materials
- Food
- Fuel
- Crops
- Crafting
- Materials
- Commodities
- Weapons, Shields, Armor
It’s fairly comprehensive and covers most areas where you’d expect cheats, other than Regional Wealth. But, we expect that to come in the future. Though WeMod is safe to use, there’s a heightened chance of crashes, bugs, and potential unforeseen consequences, so use at your own risk. It works for Manor Lords on both Steam PC and Xbox Game Pass for PC.
Difficulty settings
If the idea of a trainer puts you off, there’s an in-built way to personnalise Manor Lords to your liking. It’s fairly limited and in no way is it comparable to cheats, but you can fine tune the Manor Lords difficulty settings to make the game easier, or even harder if that’s what you’re after.
When starting a new game, you can adjust the following difficulty settings:
- Off map adversary – present/absent
- AI aggressiveness – reactive/balanced/aggressive
- Raider frequency – none/medium/frequent
- Initial bandit camps – 0-5
- Random bandit camp spawn limit – 0/3/5
- Starting season – winter/spring/summer/autumn/random
- Starting supplies – nothing/standard/double
- Armament delivery – yes/no
- Residential requirements – tolerant/balanced/demanding
- Approval – low penalty/medium penalty/high penalty
- Well placement – unconstrained/underground water
- Weather events – none/balanced/difficult
There are also presets – relaxing/default/challenging – to rapidly change the difficulty level without having to dive into each of the settings. For an easier experience, turn down all the settings or choose the relaxing option.
