The eighth week of the NFL is all but in the books, and there were quite a few players who deserve to land in the latest Madden 24 Team of the Week set. Week 8 saw some incredible performances from some unheralded players, and they will probably he honored for it. Ahead of the release of TOTW 8, we predict who will be included in the set.
Madden 24 TOTW 8 Cards
Offensive Player of the Week – 90 OVR
Will Levis stepped onto an NFL field for the first time this year. He did not disappoint. He led the Tennessee Titans to a win, tossing a stunning four touchdowns (three to DeAndre Hopkins) to go along with 238 yards and zero interceptions.
Defensive Player of the Week – 90 OVR
Baron Browning starred in the upset victory for the Denver Broncos. The ROLB put up two sacks and four total tackles to help his team shock the Kansas City Chiefs. The Broncos defense was all over the field, and Browning was right in the middle of that.
Limited Editions – 90 OVR
Adrian Phillips gets a limited time 90 overall card, but not for his Week 8 performance. This is another past performance card. CeeDee Lamb had an unbelievable day. The Dallas Cowboys superstar recorded 12 catches for 158 yards and two touchdowns. It was the best offensive performance of the week and it demands a nice MUT card.
Heroes – 87 OVR
Rashid Shaheed had a stellar outing for the New Orleans Saints. The wide receiver scored a long touchdown and had 153 yards on just three touchdowns. Add to that some excitement in the return game and he gets a Hero card this week. Seattle Seahawks linebacker Jordyn Brooks also gets a nice card after putting up 10 tackles and a sack in the win.
High elites – 83 OVR
Gus Edwards had a true breakout performance for the Baltimore Ravens. The running back scored three touchdowns on 94 total yards and will get an elite card for his performance. Jermaine Johnson recorded six tackles and two sacks for the New York Jets on Sunday, and he is rewarded with an 83-OVR card.
Low Elites – 81 OVR
Donte Jackson had a big game for the Carolina Panthers. The veteran cornerback recorded five tackles and a stuff in the Panthers’ first win of the season. Taysom Hill, the Saints utility player, is getting an 81 overall QB card this week. He earned it after a 44-yard pass and 63 rushing yards with two touchdowns.
Keep in mind that these NFL players did well, and others can get a new card next week. Anyone who plays well on Thursday, Sunday, or Monday can get a nice card every single week.
Madden 24 TOTW 8 release date
Madden 24 Team of the Week 8 will be released on Wednesday, November 1, 2023. It will officially be launched and live in-game at the release time of 1:30PM EST / 6:30PM BST. Before each TOTW release, Madden NFL 24 reveals the new players typically the morning of every Wednesday on their Good Morning Madden Twitch live stream at 10:30AM EST.
