Inside Ultimate Team, fans can take part in a variety of different game types and activities, whether its completing program challenges, playing in solo battles, or trying out the options available in the online Head 2 Head menu. And of the four options inside H2H, MUT Champions is arguably the most popular, providing great incentives from the Competitive Field Pass.
With Madden 24 now out for well over a week, fans have been able to sink into everything the game has to offer so far, from its new player ratings to its new promos. And as fans start to assemble better squads in Ultimate Team and get more comfortable with the gameplay, some might want to test their skills out and partake in a challenging mode, and MUT Champions is just the place to put yourself to the test. What is MUT Champions in Madden 24?
In Madden 24, MUT Champions is the most competitive online mode available in Head 2 Head that grants users the opportunity to play up to 25 ranked games against other real players. Previously in Madden 23, fans had to collect MUT Champions Tokens in order to exchange them to even participate in this mode.
But in Madden 24, all you need to do is visit the H2H menu in Ultimate Team, and inside, you will be able to select the Champions tab and begin your quest for 25-0. For those that are familiar with any Ranked style of online sports play, this mode operates in a very similar fashion, but is much more competitive by having you go up against the best of the best in each week’s Champs mode while also having to play on All-Madden difficulty. As you can see, this is by no means for the faint of heart.
What is the goal of MUT Champions in Madden 24?
The goal for MUT Champions in Madden 24 is mainly twofold. The first and biggest reason why fans play MUT Champions is because it grants users a great opportunity to progress through the Competitive Field Pass and reap its exclusive rewards. In Madden 23, the Competitive Field Pass would rotate its rewards ladder on a weekly basis, but in Madden 24, it’s now lasts for the entire season, granting fans much more time to put in their due diligence and secure the quality prizes it has to offer.
Along with playing MUT Champions for the Competitive Field Pass, Madden 24 did include an additional objective this year that also provides players with a special incentive. Should anyone go 25-0 in MUT Champions, they will receive one million MUT Coin. However, this special objective has been suspended by EA Sports per Madden NFL Direct’s Twitter page since August 21, due to several users finding a way to hack their way to secure the ultimate one million MUT Coin prize. As soon as the ultimate prize returns or perhaps receives some new changes, we will be sure to update this guide accordingly.
Besides these main two goals, the only other mission to play for is ranking. The more games you win, the better your rank will be in MUT Champions, and in turn, the more rewards you will be able to reap for your lineups.
