The Ghosts of MUT program is returning in Madden 24! Based on the upcoming slate of releases this week, the popular Christmas-themed set is back for another year. This is hardly the first time it has returned, as it has become quite the fan favorite. Fortunately for those fans, it’s back for another year. Here’s what you need to know.

What is Madden 24 Ghosts of MUT?
Ghosts of MUT is a recurring Madden Ultimate Team program that follows the Christmas theme. Much like the ghosts of Christmas past, present, and future in A Christmas Carol, the ghosts of Madden past, present, and future return in the latest iteration.

Ghosts of MUT is a prime opportunity for EA Sports to introduce iconic players to Madden 24. For example, Tom Brady is not in the game since he retired. He could be a Ghost of MUT past, and there are so many others that could be as well. It’s a very exciting set for a reason.
In Madden 23, there were players like Cam Newton, Drew Bledsoe, Marshawn Lynch, Patrick Mahomes, Julius Peppers, Kenneth Walker III, Troy Polamalu, and Dallas Goedert, to name a few. Those players were from either the past, present or future of the sport, and the same sort of players will be added into the Madden 24 Ghosts of MUT set.
Madden 4 Ghosts of MUT release date
Madden 24’s newest set is scheduled to release this week on Thursday and follow that schedule moving forward. The reveals will be made beforehand, but the players go live on Thursday. Once that happens, you can load in and start unlocking them.
