Is Madden 24 on EA Play?

Madden 24 comes from Electronic Arts, or EA Sports. The developers have their own gaming subscription service. Not only do they frequently work with Xbox for Game Pass, but they have one just for their own titles. EA Play is a popular service that allows access to games and often gives discounts to players on new titles. Is Madden 24 on EA Play?

Does EA Play have Madden 24?

Madden 24 is not yet available on EA Play. The subscription service does not have the latest title in the popular football simulator franchise. They do, however, have the two previous releases. Both Madden NFL 23 and Madden NFL 22 are on the service, so there is an opportunity to play NFL video games, just not the most current one. The 24 version has not been included at the time of writing.

This does suggest that eventually, the service will get Madden 24. It was just released in August, so it’s only been out for a couple of months. That’s still the prime sales period, so it makes sense that neither the Deluxe Edition or Standard Edition are on a fairly inexpensive service. They’d likely lose money on sales, so they’re going to try and maximize the potential for the game.

EA Play subscribers did get a 10-hour free trial of the game and 10% off the full purchase when the game was in early access. However, that was back in August and it’s not applicable now. As of now, that’s the only time that having EA Play has mattered when it comes to Madden 24. Eventually, it should matter again, but it doesn’t right now.

For the time being, anyone trying to play Madden Ultimate Team, Franchise Mode, Superstar Mode, or anything else will have to make a full purchase of the game. This is true of PlayStation, PC, and Xbox gamers. Everyone has to buy the game from EA or wait until it’s available on EA Play or even Game Pass.

When will Madden 24 be on EA Play?

There is currently no date for when Madden 24 will be on the service. There is also no official confirmation that it will be added at all, even if it’s likely based on their past behaviors. We can look to the timeline of Madden 23 to make an educated guess on when Madden 24 might be out for EA Play.

Madden 23 came out on August 16, 2022. It was then released for EA Play on February 99, 2023. That was just before the Super Bowl, marking the official end of the NFL season. A similar timeline can be expected this time around, so look for Madden 24 to land on EA Play on or around February 11, 2024. That is not a confirmed release date, and EA hasn’t even stated for certain if the game is coming to the service, but it is likely.
