How to get Rough Amber in LEGO Fortnite

Rough Amber can be found on the sides of cliffs and rocks in the Dry Valley desert biome. Once you reach the desert, you’ll notice that many of the cliffs have bright, golden rocks sticking out of them – this is Amber. However, you’re first going to have to be able to reach it.

The best way to reach these Amber deposits is simply by building stairs. Bring lots of Wood in your inventory, and you’ll be able to build stairways up to these hard-to-reach areas, letting you access the Amber.

Don’t put the stairs too close to the cliff side. You’ll need enough room at the top to place a couple of wooden platforms to make climbing up as easy as possible.

When you’ve finally reached the Amber deposits, you’ll need the right tools. Common Pickaxes won’t work, and you’ll need at least an Uncommon Pickaxe to be able to mine Amber. Craft yourself one, smack the Amber a few times, and you’ll have your Rough Amber.

Rough Amber can be processed by a Gem Cutter into Cut Amber. Cut Amber is the main resource you’ll want to mine Amber for, as it’s a requirement for some village upgrades, as well as being used to craft Rare Axes.
