Upgrading your village in LEGO Fortnite is essential to your survival. The more you expand your village, the more fun the game will be. On top of that, you’ll be able to craft high-quality weapons, food, and other goodies for yourself. However, you cannot upgrade your village to a maximum level right away, which is why we’ve prepared a guide on village upgrade requirements in LEGO Fortnite.

Thanks to our guide, you will be able to plan your village expansion and gather the necessary materials for it. Keep in mind that the maximum village level in LEGO Fortnite is 10, although this may change in the future.

To upgrade your village in LEGO Fortnite, you need to open your village hub. After that, go to the second tab and check all the necessary upgrade requirements. You will need to gather many materials before you can take your village to the next level and get benefits from it.

Besides materials, you’ll also have to increase your village rating by adding more structures to it. Your LEGO Fortnite village rating is shown in the top right corner and it increases as you keep building inside your village. Once you fill up the bar and gather all the necessary materials, you’ll be able to upgrade your village.

Don’t forget about other structures

As you continuously explore the world of LEGO Fortnite, you will get into new biomes. Once you leave the grasslands, surviving outside will be much tougher, so make sure you upgrade your other structures, including the Crafting Bench. This will allow you to become much stronger and survive longer.

The village requirements listed above are only for the grassland biome, which is a default biome you start in. Other biomes will require some other materials, such as Malachite and Frostpine. Due to this, make sure to check out our guide on how to get Malachite in LEGO Fortnite and how to obtain Frostpine.

Dry Valley upgrade requirements

Dry Valley is harder than Grasslands, and you will likely visit it after you’re done upgrading your village in the first biome. The Dry Valey biome has high temperatures, which is why we recommend crafting a couple of Cool-Headed Charms.

If you decide to set up a new village in Dry Valley, these are the requirements you’ll have to meet:

LevelRequirements
1Place Village Square
220 Wood, 20 Granite
310 Knotroot, 10 Plank, 15 Marble
415 Knotroot Rod, 30 Granite Slab
525 Knotroot Rod, 20 Marble Slab
625 Marble Slab, 15 Rough Amber
720 Flexwood, 30 Marble Slab, 15 Cut Amber
830 Flexwood Rod, 20 Obsidian, 10 Rough Ruby
920 Obsidian Slab, 10 Copper Bar, 15 Cut Ruby
1030 Obsidian Slab, 20 Copper Bar, 30 Cut Ruby

Once again, you will need Planks to upgrade your village, so check out how to get them. If you’re starting a new world, you may want to see our list of best seed codes for LEGO Fortnite.

The Frost biome in LEGO Fortnite can be quite difficult to survive in. Due to low temperatures, you will have to craft Charms to survive longer. If you need help with choosing the right Charms, check out our guide that lists the best Charms in LEGO Fortnite.

Without further ado, these are village upgrade requirements in the Frostlands biome:

LevelRequirements
1Place Village Square
225 Wood, 30 Granite
315 Knotroot, 15 Plank, 20 Marble
420 Knotroot Rod, 25 Marble Slab
525 Flexwood Rod, 30 Marble Slab
620 Obsidian Slab, 10 Copper Bar
720 Frostpine, 15 Copper Bar
825 Frostpine Rod, 20 Malachite, 15 Iron Bar
925 Malachite Slab, 20 Iron Bar, 20 Rough Sapphire
1030 Malachite Slab, 25 Iron Bar, 30 Cut Sapphire

As you can see, the requirements for upgrading your village in the Frostlands biome are different. While building your village can be done by placing a Village Square, the other materials are mostly different. On top of that, this biome requires more Wood, Granite, Knotroot, and other materials, for every level.
