Every time you start a new world in LEGO Fortnite, it has a random seed. These seeds can be shared with friends to give them an exact copy of your starting world to let other players try it out, but you can also use this to get the best possible starting worlds.
We’ve put together a list of our five favourite seeds so you can get the ideal start. These seeds are all in great locations surrounded by important early game resources to get you going, as well as being not too far from other biomes so once you get exploring, you won’t have far to travel – let’s get into them.
LEGO Fortnite seeds explained
Think of a seed as an access code to a specific LEGO Fortnite map, complete with unique biomes and resources. Using the specific string of numbers can allow other players to use the same map for their adventures. And if you think your randomized world needs to be experienced by other players, you can override your own world seed with a number combination of your choice. Expect even more favorable seeds to appear as more players get their hands on the game.Â
You might be wondering why you should use LEGO Fortnite seeds outside the randomly generated ones. This is because there are some maps out there that are more favorable for beginners and resource-gatherers than others. Some even include iconic landmarks like an ice wall straight out of Game of Thrones. Diving into new worlds can be a fun experience by itself. But finding an optimal one and thriving in it is a possibility worth considering too.
How to enter a LEGO Fortnite seed world
While the random generator provides a unique challenge every time, you can enter existing LEGO Fortnite seed worlds too. Here’s a step-by-step guide to enter a LEGO Fortnite seed world:
- Head to the main menu in LEGO Fortnite.
- Select a world by pressing Up on the D-pad or keyboard.
- Pick ‘Create New World’ and select either a ‘New World Slot’ or overwrite an existing world.
- Here, click ‘Override World Seed’ which can be found in ‘Advanced Options.’
- Enter one of the following seed codes to gain access to that world.
Our best LEGO Fortnite seeds
After scouring several worlds, we’ve picked the best LEGO Fortnite seeds for your needs. Some offer unique biomes near each other like the desert and ice biomes. This lets you farm unique resources without an absurd amount of exploration. While all maps will let you eventually find these biomes, some will keep them hidden. Here are our best LEGO Fortnite seeds.
Best beginners area – 0942418202
This one was found by AciDic Blitzz. With loads of resources nearby like knotroot and chests, this is a great starting point if you’re just entering the game. There’s a cove right near the spawn point, a house to the north, and a town to the northeast. Venture beyond safety and you’ll find all sorts of challenges eventually. But if you want to just get started with LEGO Fortnite, you can’t go wrong with this pick.
Biome paradise – 1820364159
Misleading discovered an incredible biome with access to grasslands, frostlands, deserts, and even a cove right from the start. This makes resource gathering simple. And the map itself looks stunning with all these biomes right next to each other.
All LEGO Fortnite maps have locations that cover every biome
While even random maps will let you reach biomes, only a few maps have all the biomes near each other for unique resources.
Little Mount – 0505050505
With a glorious mountain in front of you, it’s a rather inviting start to LEGO Fortnite. Found on Reddit, it takes you to the frostlands right away, which is great for frost pine enthusiasts. As for Flexwood, check out the desert nearby.
Chests Galore – 542354756
If you want a treasure hunt, this seat is a great pick. Head northwest to find a watchtower with two chests. And from the top, you’ll spot a house with two more chests. It’s a good start to set up a base of any kind. Expect even more surprises dotted across the map.
Ghost Town – 542354756
Explorers will love this mess of abandoned towers and buildings near the spawn point. AciDic BliTzz struck gold with this one, letting you loot the area for all sorts of resources. You could even make this into your settlement with some refurbishing.
How to find your LEGO Fortnite world seed
Hover over your world on the ‘Select World’ menu. This will bring up the LEGO Fortnite seed on the right side, along with when you created the world. Share this code with your friends and they will be able to play in this world. All they have to do is add it to the ‘Override World Seed’ box.
