Want the best LEGO Fortnite blueprints?

LEGO Fortnite is a sandbox survival mode in Fortnite. It has surprising depth, with dynamic weather conditions and multiple materials to craft resources and tools. While you have free rein on building so long as you have the materials to build a structure, you also have the option to use blueprints.

These require materials like flexwood in LEGO Fortnite and marble. Read on to learn our top blueprint picks in the game.

The best blueprints in LEGO Fortnite, ranked

Blueprints are pre-created structures that guide you through a build to craft a building. There are plenty of blueprints available in LEGO Fortnite, but these are the seven best blueprints in LEGO Fortnite.

7. Simple Shack

Upfront Cost: Six Wood

Total Cost: 13 Wood

As the name implies, the Simple Shack is the simplest build available in LEGO Fortnite. Despite this, it’s great as an early-game building to keep your workstations covered so you can still use them in the rain. While the Simple Shack is pretty small, it’s light on resources and requires little investment, making it great at the start of fresh runs. You aren’t going to keep crafting Simple Shacks once you start unlocking more blueprints, but it’s impossible to deny their usefulness when you are just starting out.

6. Porch Shack

Upfront Cost: 25 Wood

Total Cost: 51 Wood

The Porch Shack is a more spacious version of the Simple Shack. Thanks to the wide space that the Porch Shack offers, there’s room to load it up with any kind of extras you want. The open space gives you the option to have a Porch Shack act as either a place for all the beds for your villagers or to fill with various stations that will be protected from the elements. Generally, you’ll want to use it for your stations as the open walls will interrupt slumber at night. It won’t protect you from monsters that may creep up. This is a starter blueprint, meaning that you have it right from the start.

5. Log Cabin

Upfront Cost: 13 Wood

Total Cost: 83 Wood

The Log Cabin is one of the first buildings that act as a proper home that also gives you a decent bit of space inside of it. It’s the most modest home you can build in LEGO Fortnite using blueprints, and one that gives a nice, cozy home for you to wait out the night inside. There’s space to decorate inside as well to bring it to life. It’s completely enclosed complete with a door, letting you wait out the night without having to worry about being attacked while doing so. It’s wide enough to fit in a few beds as well, letting you assign multiple villagers to them to give them a nice place to sleep as well.

4. Pleasant Pavilion

Upfront Cost: 18 Granite

Total Cost: 52 Granite, 48 Wood

Pleasant Pavilion is the best structure to craft to store all of your workstations in. It is very spacious, giving you room to fit all the buildable stations while keeping a roof over them so you can still use them even when it’s pouring rain. It doesn’t make the best home with the open walls so enemies can still attack you when inside. However, it’s one of the best blueprints for acting more of a “garage” of sorts for your stations. Improve your village to unlock this blueprint.

3. Log Watch Tower

Upfront Cost: Nine Wood

Total Cost: 103 Wood, 10 Plank

The Log Watch Tower is great to craft as a way to get a good view of your surrounding areas. When looking for specific biomes, the Log Watch Tower is a good way to build a high structure so you can try to see the biome so you know what direction you will need to run in to find it. It takes a bit of resources to build, but the investment is worth it considering you get a lot of value out of it for adventuring outside of your main base of operations. Speak to the NPC named Cuddle Team Leader for this blueprint.

2. Grand Palace

Upfront Cost: 69 Granite

Total Cost: 219 Vines, 233 Wood, 152 Granite, 91 Frostpine

If you want to feel like royalty, the Grand Palace is the biggest building you can make with a blueprint. It’s multi-storied and has multiple rooms, floors, and a wide open space to decorate the inside with whatever you want. The Grand Palace is like the “final trophy” of LEGO Fortnite blueprints, being the largest and most resource-intensive building you can craft (with only the Palace Tower coming close to it). Build a village square in the Frostlands biome and upgrade it to gain access to this blueprint.

The Other Big Blueprint

While the Grand Palace is the largest structure you can make with blueprints, the Palace Tower has similar traits although instead is layered with multiple levels, making it taller instead of wider. It requires much more Wood and a bit more Frostpine than the Grand Palace but requires fewer materials overall. If you really want to splurge, you can opt to build both for a grand village.

1. Log Lookout

Log Lookout is one of the first blueprints you can get in LEGO Fortnite and the best blueprint in it. It is a very simple structure, simply a set of stairs leading up to a platform. While this doesn’t do much for a village, the Log Lookout works best inside of caves. It lets you have a platform to easily reach raw materials that are high up on walls that are unobtainable without a way to reach them. The Log Lookout requires very little investment and its versatility is what makes it such a good starter blueprint in LEGO Fortnite.

That covers the seven best blueprints available inside LEGO Fortnite. Blueprints are a great way to build structures without needing to use freeform pieces to build them. For those who aren’t too interested in building their own, they are a great way to still have structures to live in and keep your materials and resources in. Blueprints are a helpful tool to get started with building up your village.
