When is the next Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 patch?

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 has been unleashed, taking the players back to Bohemia following the events of the first game. The intricate RPG has already led to record player numbers for the studio, though as with most games, some ironing out will be necessary. So when can we expect the next patch for KCD2? We’ll try to answer that and more, so keep reading.

When is the next KCD2 patch coming?

There is no official information about the next Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 patch yet. The latest patch, 1.1.2 was released on February 20 for all platforms. It introduced several fixes to the game’s stability and quests. Notably, a few notorious crashes should now be ironed out, especially those that occurred during interactions while playing.

✓ Small Xbox patch

On February 7, another small patch was deployed targeting only the Xbox version. While there were no official patch notes, it seems to have addressed a few bugs, including audio stuttering.

The game has been sold in over 2 million copies in two weeks, so players have welcomed the new patch with excitement. However, many have criticized the scope of the patch, deeming that it’s too small. There are still some issues with the game that need to be fixed. The game still suffers from several errors affecting many players, so the devs will likely devote a portion of their time to fixing them in a future patch. For example, players are still experiencing stuttering, white flickers, black screens when launching, and other assorted errors, to name a few.

With that in mind, when will the next patch be released? We don’t expect a new patch so soon after the latest one. However, there will have to be another patch in a not-so-distant future. We’d say no sooner than two to three weeks, though more likely it’s at least a month away. But for now, we’ll have to wait and will update you as soon as any new information becomes available.
