As part of the Lost in the Past Fieldwork, you’ll head to an ancient Nephilim cave hidden in the north east of the Sukhothai jungle. After touching the Prayer Wheel, Indy will come into contact with a poisonous substance that sends you in a trippy, dream-like recreation of Marshall College, cycling through a never ending corridor to relive the past.
You’ll snap pictures of symbols as you solve a puzzle involving artifacts and a blackboard, then a facsimile of the Jesus lever puzzle from the Vatican City. You’ll then find a roman numeral X that you’ll need to add to the room 1 placard to get room 11. After snapping a picture of the symbol on the blackboard, you’ll grab Indy’s hat and have to run away from a giant only to end up back in the cave.
At this point, you’ll need to solve the Prayer Wheel Puzzle, which involves three rotating stone blocks that recount an old Nephilim tale. In this guide, we’ll walk you through how to solve the Prayer Wheel Puzzle in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle.

Prayer Wheel Puzzle solution
To solve the Prayer Wheel Puzzle, you’ll need to move and align the three stone blocks in the right order to create a story. Each block carries a Nephilim symbol, though their complexity means they aren’t much help here. Instead, you’ll want to rely on the vocal cues that Indy provides when you shift a block into the right position: he’ll utter a word that progresses the story. You’ll want to turn each of the blocks as follows:
- Move the top block to the right once. This lands it on the Exodus symbol.
- Move the middle block to the right twice so that it’s on the Rebirth symbol.
- Move the bottom block to the right three times, which will position it on the Temple symbol.
If positioned correctly, the blocks will sink into the ground revealing the Golden Fishing Hook artifact. Make your way back to Khaimuksakait Village in the east of Sukhothai. Find Sunan who is fishing down by the river and hand over the hook. Doing so will wrap up the Lost in the Past Fieldwork, netting you 800 Adventure Points you can put towards unlocking skill from Adventure Books.
