As you near the end of The Blessed Pearl adventure in Sukhothai, you’ll venture below Wat Mahathat. Before long, you’ll reach a huge chamber with a hulking game board on the floor decked out with pressure plates. Familiar faces from Khaimuksakait Village will show up to help, standing in as human-sized game pieces to help you crack the puzzle.

You can deduce the solution through trial and error, but it’s a time consuming task as you try to figure out in what direction each pressure plate shifts the statues. In this guide, we’ll walk you through how to solve the Big Board Game in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle.

Big Board Game puzzle solution

To solve the Big Board Game puzzle, you’ll need to position the four villagers and then Indy on the correct pressure plates so that all the large statues are pointing forwards. Here’s where you want to place each of the villagers. We’ll use the entrance to the puzzle room as a point of reference to make pinpointing the exact locations easier. You can also check the gallery above if you prefer a visual indication of where they need to stand.

  • Signal the first villager to stand on the left-most pressure plate on the first row of the board.
  • Get the second villager to the stand on the left-most pressure plate on the second row.
  • Position the third villager on the right-most pressure plate on the fourth row.
  • Ask the fourth and final villager to position themselves on the right-most pressure plate on the fifth row.

Placed correctly, the two groups of two villagers should be diagonally opposite each other in the bottom left and top right corners of the board. To complete the puzzle, position Indy on the pressure plate that’s third from the left on the second row, with a statue to your left and another ahead of you. If you’ve positioned the villagers and Indy correctly, the statues will lower into the ground, unlocking the door to the Lost Temple at the back of the chamber.
