Fortnite ruin puzzle solution
To complete the ‘solve a puzzle at a ruin’ quest, you need to have 250 Gold Bars or a purple rarity item. Then go to the Southern Ruin located between Mega City and Rumble Ruins. There you will encounter an NPC named Sloane next to an abandoned tank just on the right side of the entrance to Temple Ruin. If you don’t already have a purple item on you, pay Sloane 250 Gold to acquire one.
Once you’ve purchased the purple or higher rarity item, enter the Temple and take a left turn to find stairs leading downwards. Now offer the purple item to the purple gate located at the end of these stairs, and you will complete the quest to solve a puzzle at a ruin in Fortnite.

- Head upstairs and examine any other braziers you find. Extinguish any that isn’t lit.
- The next door will open up and you’ll see two statues. One on your left and one on your right.
- You can pick any of them. However, picking the wrong one you’ll be teleported into the sky through a rift, but you can simply come back and pick the right one which will reward you with the treasure of Temple Ruin.
