Fortnite Mechagodzilla skin release date and where to buy it
The Mechagodzilla skin was released in Fortnite on January 16, 2025, at 5 PM PT / 8 PM ET. The skin was released within the Fortnite Item Shop where players will be able to claim the outfit. According to a prior leak by HYPEX, the skin looks identical to its appearance in the Monsterverse films and has glowing red eyes and metallic armor.
It belongs to the Monarch’s Titans set in the game and is reactive during gameplay with glowing eyes. Furthermore, the official description of the skin is as follows, “A biomechanical anti-Titan weapon made by Apex Cybernetics.” Mechagodzilla is the archenemy of Godzilla and the Fortnite skin release is the character’s first in-game collaboration with any video game out there. Not just that, Fortnite will not only have Godzilla, but also a Kong skin, adding to the excitement by bringing another monster from the MonsterVerse into the game.
