How to get Godzilla skin in Fortnite

Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1 has finally arrived and brings a serene new island for players to land on. The new map called Oninoshima has six biomes and new locations, all of which are themed after Japanese culture and legends. Alongside the new additions to the map, new weapons and creatures have also been added to the island. While many of the creatures like Sprites are friendly and aid players during gameplay, a beast is coming to the game who is the king of monsters, Godzilla. Since a giant Godzilla was seen in the Chapter 6 Season 1 gameplay trailer, fans can also get their hands on a compact version of the beast as a Fortnite skin. Here’s how to get it.

How to unlock Godzilla skin in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1

The Godzilla skin is a secret outfit in the Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1: Demon Hunters Battle Pass and is called Godzilla Evolved. The outfit is themed after the appearance of the character similar to the Monsterverse films like Godzilla vs Kong.

However, when it comes to unlocking the outfit, players will be able to unlock it starting January 17, 2025, when the Godzilla Rewards page becomes accessible to owners of the Battle Pass. The skin will be unlocked by completing a series of Fortnite quests which will be released around the same time. Currently, only Page 1 of Godzilla rewards is accessible where players can just see the Godzilla skin. Page 2 and the rest of the cosmetics will be decrypted ahead of the Jan 17th update.
