Where to Get Guardian Shield in Fortnite?

You can find the Guardian Shield as ground loot throughout all four corners of the new Fortnite map. Although this shield is special in its own right, it doesn’t just show up in special chests. You may have more luck, however, by visiting named locations, like The Citadel, rather than unnamed ones.

If you prefer not to test out your luck with the game’s random distribution of ground loot, you can try the Oathbound Chests to find the Guardian Shield much faster. These white, glowing chests, scattered all over the map, are currently among the most valuable in Chapter 4.

Previously a good way to find the Shockwave Hammer, you can now use these chests to get the Guardian Shield.

How to Block Shots with the Guardian Shield in Fortnite?

The Guardian Shield is a protective item that can save you and your teammates’ lives. This rare object, which only takes up one space in your inventory, can be used in two ways and both of them stop incoming attacks for a certain time.

Here’s how to block shots with the Guardian Shield:

Active Mode: You’ll need to hold down the fire button to activate this mode, which you will use like a weapon. This is usually the left button on your mouse or the R2 button on the gamepad. As long as you keep this key pressed, a shield will form in front of you to stop incoming bullets.

Still Mode: The shield’s second mode gives you the ability to pin it at a specified location. Press the aim button and determine where you want to throw the Guardian Shield. When you throw it, the defensive item will stay there and you’ll be able to move freely.

It’s important to note that the Guardian Shield’s energy is not unlimited and will expire after a certain amount of time. With this in mind, it may be a good idea to replace the shield you’ve been using periodically.
