How to Get Spells in Hogwarts Legacy

There are two ways to get spells in the game.

Story Missions, Main Quests, and Side Quests

You’ll unlock various skills as you progress through the Hogwarts Legacy story. Pushing forward with the main story quest is the best way to further expand your catalog of available spells. Here’s a list of missions and classes that include spells:

  • Charms Class – Accio
  • Defense Against the Dark Arts Class – Levioso

Hogwarts professors will give you what are called Assignments, side quests designed to hone your wizarding skills. As a reward for completing Assignments, you’ll get new spells. Assignments can be tracked under the Quests menu of the Field Guide.

For example, the first assignment – Professor Ronen’s Assignment – where you have to track down two flying pages, rewards you with the Reparo spell. Most include a basic task – such as collecting pages darted in the vicinity of the quest giver – you’ll have to complete.
