Helldivers 2 character customization is a mechanic that doesn’t have too much impact on your game, but is something you’ll probably want to do anyway to truly make your game your own. How to customize your character in Helldivers 2
You can customize your character using the Armoury on your ship. Head here and open up the menu, and then select the ‘Character’ tab. From here, you can see all of the different character customization options. These are:
- Body Type
- Voice Pack
- Emote
- Victory Pose
- Player Card
- Title
Unfortunately, that’s it for the character customization options in Helldivers 2. While you can change up your appearance depending on the armor and helmet you equip, there are no major customization options such as changing the colors of your armor.
How to unlock more customization options in Helldivers 2
If you’re not satisfied with the number of customization options you start with in Helldivers 2, don’t worry, as you can fairly easily get more. As you play the game and level up, you’ll gradually begin to unlock more customization options, expanding your Armoury and giving you more chance to personalize your character.
As well as that, you’ll be able to get new customization options from both the Warbonds and Premium Warbonds stores by spending the Medals you earn for completing missions, as well as purchasing them directly from the in-game store using real-world money.
