Best Enchantment Sets in God of War Ragnarok

Helheim Enchantment Set

  • Enchantments – Helheim’s Virtue, Helheim’s Force, Helheim’s Justice or Helheim’s Might
  • Set effect – increases melee damage when under 50% health

Let’s face it, most of us will spend a lot of time with our health dangerously close to zero, especially at higher difficulty levels, so any help to level the playing field is welcome. The Helheim enchantment set does just that, granting a increase to melee damage when health drops below 50%.

Of all the Helheim enchantments, we recommend Helheim’s Virtue, which grants a healthy 20 points to runic and 2 to vitality. Up next, Helheim’s Force is a solid option for its 12 point boost to strength and 3 to vitality. Lastly, you can complete the set with either Helheim’s Might – 9 to defense and 4 to vitality – or Helheim’s Essence – 10 to vitality.

Alfheim Enchantment Set

  • Enchantments – Alfheim’s Vigour, Alfheim’s Honour, Alfheim’s Justice
  • Set effect – last-second dodge empower the next attack

The Alfehim enchantment set bonus sees last-second dodges empower Kratos’ next attack. Dodging is a huge part of a successful journey through the Nine Realms, so knowing that weaving and bobbing out of harms way powers up your next attack gives even more reason to avoid enemy attacks. The boost depends on strength, so this is a strong option for builds with a lot of points invested in pure DPS.

Alfheim’s Vigour is a no-brainer with its 10 point strength stat increase. Same goes for Alfheim’s Honor, which gives you +5 strength and +8 cooldown reduction. Lastly, we recommend pairing those two with Alfheim’s Justice for the +20 vitality increase and smaller, but always useful, +2 strength boost.
