Fortnite’s Pirates of the Caribbean collaboration has finally arrived, and along with all the unique skins and the Cursed Sails pass that are at the forefront of the update, Epic Games have added some new items to the game, one of the more interesting of which is the Ship in a Bottle Mythic.

We’re going to take you through exactly what the Ship in a Bottle is, how it works, and how you can get it in your matches to try it out for yourselves. With that, let’s get into it.

Ship in a Bottle locations in Fortnite

To find the Ship in a Bottle in Fortnite, you will have to open chests, supply drops, and very rarely from ground loot. We know that’s not a satisfying solution, but if you want to try it out you’re simply going to have to look around for yourself until you manage to find one.

You can also get the new Mythic item from Jack Sparrow, who is located on the eastern part of the island. However, make sure to have gold bars before you purchase the item.

How does the Ship in a Bottle work in Fortnite?

When used, you’ll throw the Ship in a Bottle at your feet, smashing it and unleashing a giant ship that you’ll jump onto. The ship will cruise forwards like a vehicle, lasting for about a minute and dealing damage to any players and vehicles it hits and completely demolishing any builds unfortunate enough to stand in its way – perfect if you’ve already unlocked the Jack Sparrow skin.

Just be aware that the ship will take damage, so if you get a bit too carefree smashing into buildings then your ship will be gone in a matter of seconds, so take a bit of care. You can only carry one Ship in a Bottle at a time, and they only last around a minute, so you’ll have to choose your moments wisely otherwise you might end up completely wasting it and be forced to get a new one.
