How to refer a friend to Fortnite
Epic Games rewards you for referring your friends to Fortnite every year. During certain periods, you can unlock free cosmetic items for doing this. These items include free Fortnite skins and a few other accessories.
To refer a friend in Fortnite, please follow these steps:
- Open the Fortnite Refer A Friend website
- Log in with your Epic Games account
- Click on the orange Share Invite button
- Share your unique link with the friend you want to refer
You may refer anyone who has played less than two hours of Battle Royale and Zero Build modes over the past 30 days. Due to this, you can refer both new and returning players to Fortnite.
Once you complete this procedure and add your friend to Fortnite, you will have to complete a few quests together. To unlock a free skin, you will both have to level up 60 times from the moment you start playing.
Don’t miss free cosmetic items in Fortnite
Each Refer A Friend program lasts for a few months. Once it ends, you will no longer be able to earn its cosmetic items for free. Due to this, make sure to refer a friend as soon as the program comes out.
As of December 2023, you can unlock the Redcap skin for free. However, the skin will only be available until early January 2024, so make sure to refer your friend to Fortnite soon and work together on completing new quests.
