How to ride raptors

To ride raptors in Fortnite, you need to tame one and then use the interact key when in proximity to it. From there it’s just the usual movement controls, only, of course, you’ll be moving around much faster.

To tame a raptor, you have two options. If you find one out in the wild, you can tame it by throwing meat towards it. This will act as a lure. Once it’s lured in, just interact with it to ride. The second method is to interact with an unhatched raptor egg. These can be found in the jungle sections of the map, such as around Rumble Ruins.

Once you’re riding, it’s worth making note that the raptor has its own health bar and stamina bar. Stamina is replenished by running over meat sources. Make sure you’ve got your sprinting and dismount key binds sorted before you hop on though.

That covers how to ride raptors in Fortnite. It’s not the only new thing coming out this season though, with some new and old Fortnite weapons making an appearance. If you want to ensure your play is optimised for success, make sure you’re up to date with the latest Fortnite augments that have dropped in the Wilds update, as well.
