Epic Games has released numerous Fortnite skins over the past few years, and some of them will never return to the game. From meme skins to popular streamers, the game developer has released many different kinds of skins. If you’ve ever wondered how many skins are in Fortnite, we have an answer for you.

How many Fortnite skins are there in 2024?

As of October 1, 2024, Fortnite has 2,103 skins. The total value of these skins is approximately 2 million V-Bucks, which costs around $16,000. However, it’s important to note that some skins, such as exclusives and Battle Pass skins, are worth much more. Due to this, your Fortnite account is worth a lot more if you own some exclusive outfits. Epic Games released 866 cosmetic items during Chapter 2 – Season 5, which is the most items released during a season. Many of these items were skins, including gaming legends like Chun-Li, Kratos, Master Chief, and others.

Check how many Fortnite skins you own

To see how many Fortnite skins you own, open your locker and sort the skins. The number in the bracket tells you how many skins you own in total.

Only 139 Fortnite skins are Legendary, which is approximately 8.2% of total skins. Epic mostly releases at least 100 Fortnite skins in every season, which is why we expect this number to increase soon. Most of these skins come out to the Item Shop, while the others are included in the Battle Pass. Some skins are, rarely, free to get.

Can I buy every single skin in Fortnite?

No, unfortunately. Some skins are no longer available, including the skins from the previous Battle Passes, limited-time exclusive skins, and others.

Can I sell my Fortnite skins?

No, selling is not possible. However, if you have too many skins in your account and you don’t like them, you can use the Archive feature. By archiving skins, you will temporarily remove them from your locker.
