Fortnite Geralt of Rivia is one of the most beloved collaboration skins in the entire metaverse. Even with characters like Spider-Man, Darth Maul, Rick Sanchez, Batman, Invincible, Thanos, Predator and more, Geralt of Rivia from The Witcher is one of the most popular. So much so, in fact, that players are desperate for another shot to get their hands on it. Is it coming back to the game any time soon?

Is Fortnite Geralt of Rivia coming to the Item Shop?

Fortnite Geralt of Rivia is not coming back to the Item Shop. He will very likely never be available again. This is because he was a Battle Pass exclusive. He was the “secret skin” from Chapter 4 Season 1, which means he was only available to players who met the following qualifications:

  • Owned the battle pass during Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1
  • Completed Geralt of Rivia’s challenges to unlock the cosmetic item

If neither of these things were true, then players missed out on what is one of the most popular Gaming Legends series cosmetics. And if that’s the case, then they are unfortunately out of luck. Battle pass skins have never returned after the season concluded.

There is a movement amongst players asking Epic Games to bring back battle pass exclusives for the Item Shop. Undoubtedly, they would sell like hotcakes. Players who missed out on Spider-Man, Superman, Indiana Jones, Omega, Calamity, Drift, The Ice King, The Mandalorian, Doctor Doom, Doctor Slone, The Black Knight and others are desperate for a chance to get them again even if it meant spending loads of V-Bucks.

However, it’s extremely unlikely that this happens. Epic Games has stated for a very long time that battle pass cosmetics are exclusive and will not return. They could always reverse course, but that would likely be chaotic and would displease those who earned them in the first place.

Zach’s Tips

They were marketed as an exclusive and people often bought battle passes solely for the chance to unlock cool skins like Peter Griffin, Spectra Knight, Iron Man, or Aquaman. If they’re not exclusive anymore, then there was no point in spending the V-Bucks on the pass and grinding the levels to unlock them.

For that reason, it remains extremely unlikely that any battle pass skin, including Geralt of Rivia Fortnite, to ever come back. If you missed out, that’s likely going to remain the case for the entirety of Fortnite. That’s all for this popular collaboration, but be sure to check out the best keybinds, a controversial battle pass reward, and a recent leak.
