The return of OG Fortnite seems to be upon us. Epic Games has hinted at the return of Chapter 1 many times but hasn’t officially confirmed it. However, the latest teaser comes from the company’s co-founder and nearly confirms what Fortnite leakers have talked about for the past few months.

Mark Rein is the vice president and co-founder of Epic Games. Most players know him for teasing new seasons on his X (formerly known as Twitter) account. Rein isn’t very active on the social media platform, but he makes sure to drop a teaser a week or two ahead of every new season.

The company’s executive just released a teaser for the next season, hinting at the return of OG Fortnite.

OG Fortnite will likely return next month

The next Fortnite season is scheduled to come out on Friday, November 3. According to reputable leakers, this will be a throwback season that will bring the OG Fortnite back. Additionally, the season will last for only a month, making it the shortest season in the history of the video game.

While Epic Games hasn’t confirmed the return of Fortnite Chapter 1, there have been many teasers about it. The latest one, however, nearly confirms all the leaks that have come out over the past few months.

Mark Rein, Epic Games’ co-founder, revealed that the word for the next Fortnite season is rewind. Considering that Kado Thorne’s time machine will likely play a major role in the upcoming events, this makes a lot of sense. With this word, Rein nearly confirmed the return of OG Fortnite.

With less than two weeks until the new Fortnite season, the hype is very high. If Chapter 1 indeed returns, many old players will likely return to the game, while new players will have the opportunity to see what the popular game looked like in its first year.
