Requirements to Publish an Island in Fortnite

To be able to publish an Island in Fortnite, you’ll need to be a part of the Support-A-Creator program. You can apply to this via the website, but note that you will need at least 1,000 followers to be accepted.

How to publish an island in Fortnite Creative in 8 steps

So long as you’ve met the above requirements, you should be able to publish your Island with ease. Simply follow these steps, and your Island will be good to go in no time:

  • Launch Fortnite and head over to Fortnite Creative.
  • From here, open the menu, using Escape on a keyboard or the options button on console.
  • On the right menu panel, you’ll see an option that says My Island. Click this.
  • At the top of the screen, you should see a description tab- click this icon.
  • Fill out all of the relevant fields, including name, description, and tags. Make sure you’re as thorough as possible with these steps, as it’ll help other players find your Island.
  • Select your photo for the project. Click apply.
  • Head to the tools tab, and then click publish. You’ll be asked to verify all of your Island’s information first.
  • And just like that, your island will be published!
