In football, players are always moving around between clubs, leagues and countries, and even from one week to another, a whole host of players could be plying their trades somewhere completely different. Luckily, FC 25 is constantly updating their rosters so you can make sure your game is as up-to-date as possible. If you’re looking to check and update your squad lists in FC 25, then you’ve come to the right place. We’ll explain how it works and how you can update your squads both automatically and manually, so whether it’s a random youngster or one of the best players in the game, all your players will be playing where they do in real life.
How to do a squad update in FC 25
In FC 25, as it has been for a couple of instalments now, your squads will automatically update when you start up the game, assuming you’re connected to the internet. You will have been asked if you want squads to automatically update when you booted up the game for the first time, but if you chose not to enable this, you can still update squads manually. First, make sure you’re connected to the internet and signed into your EA, Xbox Live or PlayStation Network account. Head to the Settings menu via the cog icon in the top left corner of the main menu, and then select the ‘Edit Teams’ tab in the bottom left. From here, all you need to do is select the ‘Download Updates’ option and your game will download any required updates to make sure your squads are as up to date as they can be. Make sure to let the update finish completely, since if you stop it before it reaches 100%, the update will not go through and you’ll have to start the update all over again.
