FC 24 TOTW 22 Predictions – Our Team of the Week contenders featuring Rice and Vinicius Jr

Every Wednesday a new Team of the Week squad drops in FUT. Another TOTW refresh means there will be no players rated lower than 85 OVR! Ahead of the latest drop, we’re making our FC 24 TOTW 22 predictions.

FC 24 TOTW 22 predictions 

One player who will almost certainly feature in Team of the Week 22 is Declan Rice. Arsenal hammered West Ham 6-0, with their ex-player providing two from set-pieces as well as thumping home one for himself. The Hammers were dreadful but Arsenal took advantage of that to come out resounding winners.

We’ve had some disappointing TOTW releases recently, but could that change this time with a few massive cards coming? One potential inclusion is goal machine Erling Haaland. Manchester City were finding it hard to break through Everton, but it is almost inevitable that they – and the Norweigian – will score! He bagged a brace, his first goals since returning from injury. Usually, that wouldn’t be enough for EA to hand Haaland an upgrade, but we’re hoping they reward him after being out for a while.

Current Ballon d’Or Feminin holder Aitana Bonmati is another with a massive rating who could be included. The Barcelona Femeni midfielder controlled the game and provided a couple of assists to continue the perfect league campaign for her side.

In La Liga, there was a pivotal match at the top of the table between Real Madrid and Girona. A win for the away side would see them leapfrog Madrid. However, Los Blancos showed their might with a 4-0 win, extending their lead to five points and making them firm favourites for another title! Vinicius Jr provided two assists and grabbed a goal himself, with a 90-rated card potentially on the way. Jude Bellingham was involved once again, scoring two, so we could see him appear instead of the Brazilian.

Team of the Week items replace their base cards in packs for one week only.

What matches does TOTW cover?

Team of the Week mainly covers games from the domestic leagues featured in the game. However, when international breaks occur, standout performers for their national teams are selected.

Can a player feature in more than one TOTW?

Players can feature in multiple Team of the Week squads throughout the season. However, the same player cannot feature in back-to-back TOTW squads.
