You will need the best F1 23 Spain setup when the F1 season heads to Barcelona in Round eight. Recent track developments mean you will need to alter your setup slightly from last year to combat some faster zones.

There are still some tricky corners around the track, so you won’t be able to go all out on your car setup for straight line speed. Instead, we would prioritise downforce and allow your car to maintain high speeds through corners rather than just on the straights, similar to the best F1 23 Bahrain setup.

Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya

The Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya is located in, you guessed it, Barcelona! The F1 2023 season heads to Barcelona in Round eight, and you will be faced with just 14 turns at the Spanish Grand Prix after some alterations to the track since its last F1 race.

EA has ranked the Spanish GP as medium difficulty. The circuit itself is 4.657 km (2.894 miles) long, and while there is no lap record data in the game, Max Verstappen set the lap record for the new layout earlier this year with a time of 1:18.149.

F1 23 Spain setup

Despite some track alterations to make it faster, Spain is still a fairly balanced Grand Prix that requires plenty of downforce. If you don’t want to tinker with a custom setup, then we would opt for preset 2.
