Though there’s no character creator in Elden Ring Nightreign, FromSoftware has still integrated a form of customization courtesy of skins for all 8 Nightfarer classes. Though it’s a far cry from the personalisation in the original Elden Ring, it’s a way to stamp your own visual taste on your chosen class before diving into Limveld. These skins, or garbs as they are called in Nightreign, are swapped out at the Dresser in the Roundtable Hold between Expeditions.

As with most things in Nightreign, there are few hoops you need to jump through before you unlock the Dresser and can swap attire at will. In this guide, we’ll walk you through how to unlock the Dresser and mirror, buy outfits, and provide a list of all skins we’ve come across in Elden Ring Nightreign so far.

How to unlock the dresser in Elden Ring Nightreign

To unlock the Dresser, you’ll need to successfully complete two Expeditions – the starter Tricephalos Expedition and any other one (Gaping Jaw, Sentient Pest, Augur, Equilibrious Beast, Darkdrift Knight, or Fissure of the Fog). Successfully complete means getting through the 3-day cycle and defeating the Nightlord at the end. Reaching the Nightlord and dying won’t count.

When you return to the Roundtable Hold after completing your second Expedition, the Iron Menial caretaker will explain that they’ve set up a dressing room in the storage room next to the study. The crates in the east wing have been replaced by a mirror and a chest containing clothes where you can swap between skins for the Nightfarer you’re currently playing. You can fast travel there by choosing ‘Change Garb’ in the Roundtable Hold Menu.

To change outfits, interact with the mirror by the Dresser then cycle through to your chosen Nightfarer class. You’ll then see a list of available outfits you can select.

How to get new outfits in Elden Ring

You can buy new outfits for your Nightfarers using unspent Murk at the Dresser in the Roundtable Hold. More garb options become available as you successfully complete Remembrance quest lines and when you complete the final Night Aspect Heolstor the Nightlord boss. To buy a new skin, interact with the dresser, select a class then a skin, and purchase it.
