It’s nearly time for EA to release their new football game, and among the many discussions ahead of the drop will be who features on the EA Sports FC 24 soundtrack. It is an integral part of the gaming experience and has introduced us to some banging tunes over the years.

As we approach the EA Sports FC 24 release date more details surrounding the game will be announced, including the artists and songs set to feature in the title. Check out everything you need to know about the FC 24 soundtrack below.

EA Sports FC 24 soundtrack

The FIFA soundtrack has accompanied our play through many years of gaming, with a mix of different genres producing bangers we may not have been drawn towards on our own, and the EA Sports FC 24 soundtrack will be no different. Rock, pop, indie, rap, dance, grime, and more music genres will give us new songs to listen to as we get stuck into the game.

An expansion of the soundtrack has happened recently, with the global soundtrack featuring over 50 tracks in FIFA 23, and a VOLTA soundtrack being introduced in FIFA 20. The global playlist features new music from around the world and will be the soundtrack you hear throughout Ultimate Team, Career Mode, Clubs, and other game modes – although this can be adjusted in settings. The VOLTA playlist didn’t include as many songs compared to the global one in FIFA 23 and focussed more on hip-hop, grime, and electronic music.

FIFA 23 also gave us a special World Cup soundtrack, with fan favourite songs from previous games such as Blur’s Song 2, Caesars’ Jerk It Out, John Newman’s Love Me Again, Kasabian’s Club Foot, and many more! With Euro 2024 expected to be catered for in FC 24, we could be in for another special soundtrack release later in the game.

Soundtrack release date

EA has made more of an event about the soundtrack release date in recent years, using its reveal as a way to build the hype for their upcoming game. Although there hasn’t been massive consistency as to when the soundtrack gets revealed, it usually comes a day before the early access period starts.

With that confirmed as September 22, we expect to see the FC 24 soundtrack released on September 21. This will be a list of all the artists and songs included in the title, probably with a link to a Spotify playlist so everyone can give the tracks a listen.

FC 24 soundtrack artist predictions

Due to the diversity and global coverage of previous FIFA soundtracks, an FC 24 soundtrack artist predictions list can be pretty difficult to compile, and will likely have many wrong guesses! However, we won’t let that stop us!

One man who is in with a very good shout of featuring is Ed Sheeran. The global superstar released his song A Beautiful Game specially for the Ted Lasso series three finale. With Ted Lasso and his AFC Richmond team making a special appearance in FIFA 23, the groundwork is in place for the partnership to continue and for Sheeran to be involved.

Kylie Minogue may not be a name you expect to see linked with the FC 24 soundtrack, but she is getting a lot of attention on forums to feature. Her song Padam Padam is one of the most requested to be included, with its catchy electro-pop sound sure to get stuck in your head.

As It Was by Harry Styles has been featured all over the radio and in commercials, and it wouldn’t surprise anyone to see him make the FC 24 soundtrack either! The synth-pop song seems a perfect fit for FC 24, striking a balance between relaxed and upbeat.

Soundtrack regulars Gorillaz and Bloc Party both have new(ish) albums out, so don’t be surprised to see them included once again. Then there are the likes of Tom Grennan, Davido, Burna Boy, Dua Lipa, Skrillex, The Snuts, PinkPantheress, and The Lathums who could be included.
