Where to farm Tibault’s Will in Diablo 4

Tibault’s Will can be picked up from two spots: by defeating the Echo of Duriel endgame boss, and as a random drop in World Tiers 3 and 4. While both of these methods can give you these Ancestral Unique Pants, we’d recommend going after Uber Duriel as it has a better chance of dropping.

You can target-farm Uber Duriel to get Tibault’s Will. You’ll need to collect Shards of Agony from Grigoire the Galvanic Saint and Mucus Slick Eggs from Echo of Varshan to summon him. Once you have the right materials, head to the Gaping Crevasse and summon him.

The Echo of Duriel is one of the hardest bosses in the game, being a level 100 boss, so don’t expect an easy fight. However, once he’s defeated, you have the chance of him dropping Tibault’s Will. You will likely have to beat the boss a few times for Tibault’s Will to drop. I’ve found that this method is far more reliable than hoping for them in a random drop, and there’s a chance for them to drop while you’re hunting for the materials needed to summon him.

The Echo of Duriel also drops other great loot, including Uber Uniques. It’s well worth going after the boss because even if you don’t get Tibault’s Will, you’ll get other great gear.

The other way you can pick up these pants is from random drops in World Tiers Nightmare and Torment. For a better chance, we recommend heading to World Events that are more likely to drop Uniques, such as World Bosses, Gathering Legions, Nightmare Dungeons, and Helltides. Show up to these events for a higher chance for the pants to drop from enemies and chests. Make sure to stay in World Tier 3 or 4, because the item cannot drop in World Tier 1 or 2!

Kill two birds with one stone

In order to get the materials needed to summon Duriel, you’ll need to complete Nightmare Dungeons, Helltides, and other activities that have a high chance of dropping Unique gear. Try to get the pants from Duriel, and you might end up finding them along the way.

It’s also important to know that there is no guaranteed location for the pants to drop. You will need to grind to get them. Be ready to put in the time to do so.

Tibault’s Will Affixes and Unique Effect

The Tibault’s Will pants have the following Affixes:

• +Damage Reduction Percentage from Close Enemies
• +Potion Capacity
• +Damage Percentage
• +Maximum Resource

And the following Unique Effect:

• You deal increased damage while Unstoppable and for four seconds after. When you become Unstoppable, gain 50 of your Primary Resource.

These Ancestral Pants are great for any class who has lots of skills that give them the Unstoppable effect, particularly Barbarians. The Unstoppable effect can be the center of your Barbarian build. Tibault’s Will can be used by any class, including Barbarian, Rogue, Druid, Necromancer, and Sorcerer.

Tibault’s will is also great when working in tandem with the Condemnation dagger, allowing players to enjoy a bugged Rogue build that allows them to solo world bosses. Whether this build will be patched out in future updates is unknown, so it’s best to take advantage of it now.
