The Oculus is one of these Unique items, and it packs a punch for all those who use it. How do you get The Oculus, and what is its Unique Effect? We’re here to let you know all the details.

Where to find The Oculus wand in Diablo 4

The Oculus can be dropped in World Tier 4: Torment, either from defeating The Beast in the Ice or from random drops by enemies level 85 and above. Unfortunately, this wand is a completely random drop, so there is no guaranteed spot to pick it up.

We recommend taking on The Beast in the Ice if you’re farming for this weapon. The Oculus is part of the beast’s loot table, and it has a much better chance of dropping from the boss than from any other random enemies. You’ll need to gather Distilled Fear and refind the materials into a special Nightmare Sigil, then head to the Glacial Fissure to take him on.

However, you can pick up The Oculus from any spot that drops Unique items in World Tier 4. If you decide to go this route, your best bet is to farm Nightmare Dungeons. However, you can get the wand from any enemies, chests, or other loot caches. This is far less reliable than The Beast in the Ice, though. If you’re looking to speed through dungeons, I’d recommend the Flooded Depths or the Guulrahn Canals. These dungeons are shorter, making it easier for you to get Uniques quickly.

Kill two birds with one stone

A great method for getting The Oculus is to farm for the materials needed to summon The Beast in the Ice and take on the boss. While it can drop from the boss, it can also drop from enemies you encounter trying to get to The Beast in the Ice.

It’s important to remember that this Unique item will not drop on any World Tier below Torment. It also won’t drop unless you level 85 or above. Make sure you switch to it and level up before you go hunting because it cannot drop without these conditions being met.

The Oculus Unique Effect and Affixes

The Oculus has the following affixes:

• +[5 to 10] Ranks of Teleport
• +2 Maximum Evade Charges
• Attacks Reduce Evade’s Cooldown by [0.6 to 0.8] Seconds
• +[12.5 to 22.5]% Damage

And the following Unique Effect:

• Gain the effect of the Teleport Enchantment for free. When you Evade using Teleport Enchantment you are taken to a random location.

As mentioned above, this Unique wand is only useable by the Sorcerer class. Unfortunately, Barbarians, Druids, Necromancers, and Rogues will not be able to play with The Oculus.

This Unique wand was originally released in the first season of Diablo 4, the Season of the Malignant. It has remained popular even as the Season of Blood has come in, for its teleportation ability.
