Where is Cannibals’ Hold in Diablo 4?

Want to find the Diablo 4 Cannibals’ Hold cellar? This location has been drawing the attention of players from all over the Diablo 4 community as its mob of cannibals are more interesting than you’d expect.

While the cannibals in this cellar aren’t as durable as the Diablo 4 bosses, they supposedly spawn infinitely. While we haven’t encountered this glitch, it would be a great way to rack up experience points (XP). This also extends to earning Paragon Points for the Paragon Board.

Diablo 4 Cannibals’ Hold location

The Cannibals’ Hold cellar in Diablo 4 is located in the Untamed Scarps area of the Dry Steppes region. Head to the right of the Jirandai waypoint and then head upwards. East of the Temple of Rot is a wide area with the cellar on the left. The little glowing hole is the entrance to Cannibals’ Hold. Enter the cellar and you’ll be tasked with clearing it. The map above has the right location highlighted.

The small chamber holds a few cannibals that can be swiftly dealt with. It might also have an event to protect a hostage by clearing waves of enemies. Keeping the NPCs alive nets you extra rewards from the Radiant chest that drops at the end of an event. Rewards at the end of the activity include Murmuring Obols, gear, and gems. This can even include Sacred or Ancestral gear at higher World Tier difficulties.

The cellar itself is nothing special. Cellars can be found across all of Diablo 4’s regions: Fractured Peaks, Hawezar, Dry Steppes, Scosglen, and Kehjistan. Different cellars offer a respite from the relentless assault of Diablo’s massive open world. They aren’t as elaborate as the game’s various Strongholds.

In fact, the region at the east of the Fields of Hatred houses a Stronghold. But the aforementioned infinite XP glitch with infinite enemies makes Cannibals’ Hold worth exploring. Mowing down a large mob of hungry cannibals over and over is a great source of rewards. While the cannibals are aggressive and have stun attacks, you should be able to dispatch them without a struggle.
