Need to know how to complete the Battle of Fear and Faith quest in Diablo 4’s Season of Blood? The brand new questline for the Season of Blood in Diablo 4 lets you stop the vampire uprising that’s taking over Sanctuary.

This quest will take you through putting a stop to many of Lord Zir’s forces and stopping his progress. You’ll get a great Vampiric Power at the end, as well as plenty of other goodies. But, how do you complete the Battle of Fear and Faith quest? We’re here to give you all the steps needed in your journey to stop the bloody vampires from taking over.

Where to find Battle of Fear and Faith

You can pick up this quest from Erys, who is in Kyovashad near the Cathedral (instead of the Magistrate’s Office). Head towards the steps and you’ll find her in the crowd. Speak with her and she’ll give you the quest to do.

How to complete Battle of Fear and Faith in Diablo 4 Season 2

Once you’ve spoken to Erys, you’ll be given two objectives:

1. Seek out and stop the Blood Harvest
2. Complete Chapter 3 of the Season Journey

Something to note is that there is a possible bug with this, in that you only need to complete one of the objectives to move forward. Whether this will get patched out is unknown, but for now, take advantage of the easier quest. I’d highly recommend stopping a Blood Harvest instead of the Season Journey. It’s way easier and quicker and gets the job done all the same.

Seek out and stop the Blood Harvest

Finding a Blood Harvest will be easy, as you can check your map and locate the area overrun in green. Unlike Helltides, there is always one Blood Harvest active on Sanctuary, so you won’t have to wait.

Head to the area and spend time killing enemies and completing objectives to fill up the quest progression bar. Once you’ve done enough, it will list the objective as complete. Complete Chapter 3 of Season Journey

If you want to go the tougher route, you can complete the third chapter of the Season Journey. Here are all the objectives listed in Chapter 3:

• Grim Claim: Obtain five Caches from the Tree of Whispers by completing Whispers
• Champion of the Lost: Conquer three Strongholds
• Wonders Distilled: Craft Elixirs of any type at the Alchemist
• Touching the Eternal: Unlock Aspects in the Codex of Power, such as through completing Dungeons
• Exceptional Potency: Upgrade your Potion to Light at the Alchemist
• Novice Reaper: Reach Reputation level three in the Blood Harvest, available after completing or skipping the Campaign
• Lancing Boils: Destroy Blood Blisters within the Blood Harvest, available after completing or skipping the Campaign
• Ascending Darkness: Upgrade a Vampiric Power to level two by consuming Potent Blood, available after completing or skipping the Campaign
• Sought Out: Defeat Blood Seekers, available after completing or skipping the Campaign
• Therapeutic: Purify Seeds of Hatred in Hostile areas
• Susurration: Open a Silent Chest, found randomly in Sanctuary, with a Whispering Key from the Purveyor of Curiosities
• The Father’s Gate: Complete the Cathedral of Light to unlock the Nightmare World Tier
• Potent Vows: Equip a piece of armor with five Pacts engraved on it

Keep completing objectives until you fill up the progress bar. Once you’ve completed enough of these objectives, you will unlock Chapter 4 of the Season 2 Journey, and advance to the next part of the quest.

Battle of Fear and Faith quest rewards

Once you’ve completed the tasks, head back to the Magistrate’s Office in Ked Bardu. There, you’ll find Erys who you’ll turn the quest into. She’ll give you a hefty amount of rewards for your trouble, including the Blood Magus Gloves, a Potent Blood Cache, a Pact Item, and most notably the Moonrise Vampiric Power.
