Well, there’s not really much known information out there about the ‘A New Beginning’ achievement in Counter Strike 2. In fact, it comes to surprise of many gamers out there, all of whom are scrambling for answers on how to actually unlock it.
Some have theories that you need to score a multi-kill in a single round, while others are claiming that you simply need to start a game to achieve it. Either way, let’s go over how you can do it. One of the most widely circulated theories is that you need to unlock achieve a multi-kill in a round of CS2. After quitting the game for the first time, you’re going to be rewarded with the achievement.
For me, personally, I found that I did score a multi-kill in the last game that I had played before receiving the award, so this lends some truth to the theory. However, there’s nothing concrete out there to confirm this. If you haven’t loaded up the game for the first time yet, you might be able to test this out by loading up a practice match with some bots and taking out a few in one go.
If you then receive the achievement after, it seems likely that there is some element of truth to the rumour.
Other theories seem to indicate that the achievement is unlocked simply by loading up a game, and then you receive the achievement shortly after.
